Paul Ritter

With over 20 years of experience in counseling, Paul is committed to finding creative and effective ways of helping clients process their stress/pain, repair damaged areas and construct healthy relationships. Paul’s counseling practice primarily centers on helping in two key arenas: 

1) COUPLES overcoming difficult challenges (affairs, “roommate” status, 
  ineffective communication, poor conflict resolution skills, in-law disruptions, 
  learning to be more open with your spouse, lack of trust, etc…). 
2) INDIVIDUALS recovering from life’s challenges (death, successful suicide of a 
  loved one, divorce, parent-child conflicts, job/co-worker issues, )

Paul has presented over 250 trainings to regional businesses. His primary motivation is to help employees to rediscover how to work productively through cooperative endeavors. He has managed staff in a variety of environments and uses this experience to insure that his training focuses on concrete methods to improve individual and team performance. Paul will also develop a training topic for a particular need you may have within your company. A current list of training can be found below. -Paul is also the Director of the free counseling clinic (Heuermann Counseling Clinic) that is located within the Family Service Inc building (see website tab Heuermann-Clinic).

-Paul received a Masters in Counseling and Master’s in Divinity from Sioux Falls Seminary and has been a licensed counselor since 1996.
